EXPERIENCE!

Combine the best of Camp Grotonwood with the choice of two off-campus trips to local attractions!

Trips are offered during the following two sessions:

Week Four: 18-30s Young Adult Camp on July 7-12, 2024 (campers age 18-35 only)

Week Six: Vacation Camp on July 21-26, 2024 (campers age 20-65)

Trips are optional and attractions vary depending on session date, please check below for more details.

TRIPS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Campers must be between 18-65 years of age

  • Campers must have high energy levels and good stamina and prefer a faster paced program

  • Campers must be able to stand and wait in line for 30-60 minutes in the summer heat

  • Campers must be able to ambulate independently, climb stairs and traverse uneven terrain

  • Campers must want to actively participate in community-based local attractions

    Please do not sign your camper up for trips if they do not like the destination.

    For example, if they dislike rides or would not be successful in a crowded environment that requires lots of walking, please do not sign them for Canobie Lake Park.

    Physical or verbal aggression towards camp staff or other campers will not be tolerated.

  1. Canobie Lake Park Amusement Park: offers rides, and cool attractions, plus a water park - Add $95 to tuition

2. Baseball Game: (M.L.B schedule pending) - Add $95 to tuition

Age restrictions apply, campers must be 18-35 to attend.

Tuition includes complimentary Grotonwood t-shirt and backpack, entry, 4:1 staffing, transportation, lunch, and medical supervision.

Week 6 Vacation camp offers trips FOR CAMPERS OF ALL AGES

July 21 - 26, 2024

1. Mel’s Funway Park Amusement Center - offers arcades, go Karts, Bumper Boats, Batting Cages, Laser Tag, Mini Golf, ice-cream and more! - Add $95 to tuition

2. Wamesit Lanes Bowling and Arcades - Add $95 to tuition

Tuition includes a complimentary Grotonwood t-shirt and backpack, entry, 4:1 staffing, transportation, lunch, and onsite medical supervision and medication administration.

Age restrictions apply, campers must be 18-65 to participate in trips during Week Six.

SPENDING MONEY ON TRIPs

$25 PER TRIP

We recommend a total of $100 for a one-week stay that includes two off-campus trips.

On trips, campers love to explore the gift shop, buy snacks and merchandize and enjoy a nice refreshing ice-cream. Our staff will hold cash and receipts, and are on hand to ensure dietary restrictions are followed and that campers make good budgetary decisions.

Campers attending off-campus trips should bring a minimum of $25 PER TRIP in addition to what they would like to spend at the Grotonwood Camp Store.
